   Ear Tag Manufacturer --LAIPSON celebrates Dragon Boat Festival
 

Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional Chinese festival.It is one of the most important Chinese festivals.

Dragon Boat Festival is the fifth day of May in the lunar calendar every year,and has a history of more than 2000 years.

 

This festival memorializes the Chinese poet Qu Yuan of the Warring States period. He committed suicide by drowning himself in a river because he was disgusted by the corruption of the Chu government.

The local people, knowing him to be a good man,decided to throw food into the river to feed the fish so they would not eat Qu’s body.

 

Today, people eat bamboo-wrapped steamed glutinous rice dumplings called Zongzi and race dragon boats in memory of Qu.
